In the film, Margo runs away - but before she does so, she fulfills a revenge plot against several of her used-to-be friends with her neighbor and classmate, Quentin Jacobsen. After she escape, it is up to Quentin and his friends to track down Margo through a series of clues that she had left behind. Margo is adventurous, and enjoys being in the moment.
