Peter Cushing played the Doctor
in two movies during the 60's

In 1960's there were two movie versions of Doctor Who starring Peter Cushing in the main role.
The first one was in 1965 and was entitled, 'Doctor Who and the Daleks.' This film see the Doctor travel through space with his new invention, Time And Relative Dimensions In Space (TARDIS). He, along with his companions, grandaughter Susan, Barbara Wright and Ian Chesterton, find themselves materialising on the planet Skaro.
The planet is suffering from a nuclear fallout and the inhabitants of this world are mutated lifeforms who have incased themselves within metal shells in order to survive. These are The Daleks.
The Doctor and his three companions have found themselves in the middle of a war with the planet's other inhabitants, The Thals a peaceful, humonoid species.
The Daleks aim to annihilate the Thals by detonating a neutron bomb. Only the Doctor can help save them.

Dalek-Invasion of Earth 2150 AD, is the second in the Doctor Who movie, featuring Peter Cushing.
The Doctor travels to 2150 AD, where planet earth is being invaded by The Daleks who are trying to turn all humans into Robomen.
An underground resistance movement and The Doctor are the only obstacles that stands in their way!
