VESAK FESTIVAL

Vesak is a cultural holiday celebrated annualyin southearst asion and south asion countries such as singapore, Thiland, Combodia, Molaysia, Sri lanka, Miyanmar,
Indunisia, Pakisthan and India .
One this day , the birth enlightenment and passing away of Buddha are commemorated.
Al though the festival of this nature has been celebrated for centuries it was officially determined in 1950.
According to an agreement reached during the first session of the world buddist brotherhood assembly to commemorato the day of the Birth of lord buddha on the vesak full
moon poya day .
