Q&A WITH KARA PETERSEN
Q1: Were you a fan of The Hunger Games before the movie?
Kara: Yes! I loved the books!

Q2: Did you have any favorite scene to film?
Kara: My favorite scene was the Cornucopia :)

Q3: Favorite scene in the film?
Kara: Also the Cornucopia!

Q4: Favorite 2 characters?
Kara: Cato & Peeta

Q5: Did you have any close friendships with any of the cast members?
Kara: Most of the stunt team was very close and the cast was close as well. We had a lot of fun shooting the film!

Q6: What name would you have named your character?
Kara: That is tough! I'm not sure...maybe you can help me with that!

Q7: If you could play as any character, who would it be?
Kara: Katniss, she is so strong

Q8: What was it like to be in The Hunger Games?
Kara: It was such an incredible experience!

Q9: If you were offered the role of Katniss, would you take it?
Kara: I don't think I could've portrayed her as well as Jen.

Q10: What do you think of the Careers?
Kara: I think they did a wonderful job!
Q&A with Gracie Gold
1. When did you first become interested in figure skating?
A. I started skating when I was 8 years old. I attended my best friend's party at the local ice rink!

2. How long do you practice each day/week?
A. I skate six days a week. I skate 3 hours each day and workout 3 days a week off ice.

3. Who inspires you when you are skating?
A. I believe in self-inspiration! You are your own motivation.

4. You skate with a lot of speed. Does this come naturally to you, or do you have to work at it?
A. I always loved skating fast around the rink. It is my favorite part of skating! But, I had to learn how to control it! :)

5. What was your...
5.1 favorite competition? A. 2014 Sochi Olympics!
5.2 least favorite competition? A. Sectionals. It's very nerve wracking because all skaters are trying to qualify for Nationals.

6. Do you pick the music for your competitions?
A. Yes! My coach and I decide together.

7. Favorite music you did for...
7.1 short program- Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy
7.2 free skate- Phantom of the Opera
7.3 exhibition- Shake it Off by T. (Taylor) Swift

8. Your costumes are very unique and pretty! Do you take part in choosing them?
A. Yes! My mom and I design a costume, and our dressmaker helps sew and bead it. It takes a lot of work to make a great costume.

9. Music that helps you calm down or when you are practicing on the ice?
A. I listen to pop songs, or anything on the top 50 charts. Taylor Swift's new album is amazing!

10. Favorite thing to do in free time?
A. Shopping or going to the movies. I love hanging out with my friends!

11. What was your overall experience in Sochi? Did you get nervous at all on the ice?
A. I was so nervous to compete at the Olympics, I could barely breathe. But I had the most amazing time in Sochi. I loved every minute of it!
Q&A WITH ANNIE THURMAN
Q1: Were you a fan of The Hunger Games before the movie?
Annie: Kinda. (: I was reading the first book during the audition

Q2: Did you have any favorite scene that you acted out?
Annie: I like the chariot scene. The costumes were stellar.

Q3: Favorite scene in the movie?
Annie: The end scene when they kill Cato

Q4:Favorite 2 characters?
Annie: Clove & Rue (Fun Fact: Originally Annie tried out for Clove, but instead got the role as D9 female tribute.)

Q5: Did you have any close friendships with the cast members?
Annie:Yes I do! I'm really close with Mackenzie Lintz (D10) Ethan Jamieson and Dakota Hood (Annie actually made a mistake- Mackenzie Lintz was the D8 female tribute. Dakota Hood is the D10 female tribute, and Ethan Jamieson is the D4 boy tribute. Annie is closest with Mackenzie Lintz.)

Q6: If you could play as any character, who would it be?
Annie: Clove

Q7: How was it like to be in The Hunger Games?
Annie: The most incredible experience I've ever had. Being able to portray a character in one of your favorite books.

Q8: If you were offered the role of Katniss, would you take it?
Annie: It would require some thinking but ultimately I think I would.

Q9: What do you think of the Careers?
Annie: They killed me...

Book: Mockingjay
Movie: Mockingjay Part 1

2. Favorite/least favorite book?
Fave: Redeeming Love
Least fave: I don't have one!

3. Favorite/least favorite movie?
Fave: The Wizard of Oz
Least fave: I like most movies for one reason or another.

4. Favorite actress?
A. Amy Adams

5. Favorite actor?
A. I actually do not have one.

6. Who or what is your inspiration?
A. My family, my friends

7. What annoys you/pet peeves?
A. Cell phones during movies, etc.

8. What are some of your hobbies?
A. Cello, painting and reading

9. Favorite school subject/least favorite?
F. English

10. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
A. Ireland




Q&A with Imanol Yepez Frias

Q1: Were you a fan of The Hunger Games before the movie?
Imanol: I had read the book and enjoyed it. I was a fan not the biggest but a fan

Q2:Did you have any favorite scene that you acted out?
Imanol: I loved the chariot scene that was awesome! I was able to see the horses that were also in the industry.

Q3:Favorite 2 characters?
Imanol: Thresh, and Marvel.

Q4:Did you have any close friendships on the set?
Imanol:I did with Dayo (Thresh) and Jack (Marvel) I was friends with all of them.

Q5:If you could play as one character, who would it be and why?
Imanol:I would play as Cato because he is a boss. Haha

Q6:What was it like to be in The Hunger Games?
Imanol: It was a really good experience but I saw what the movie industry does to people it makes makes them shallow, self-centered, and mean. Though there are exceptions.

Q7: If you were offered the role of Peeta, would you take it?
Imanol: Yes.

Q8:Do you like The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, or Mockingjay?
Imanol: 1st was the best, 2nd good, 3rd was whatever

Q9: What did you think of Catching Fire (film)?
Imanol: It was ok. They should've done more arena scenes and less D12

Q10: What did you think of the Careers?
Imanol: HG or CF? They did a good job. I liked Johanna a lot.
