HUGGER

General Info

Hugger is a big, loving, green frog. The kids like to cuddle with him, and he, too, likes hugs a lot. Hugger is a really old toy, and is wise, compassionate, and caring. Since Hugger is the largest member of the team, he lets up to three other team members (that are doll-sized) ride on him sometimes. He is the leader of the team, and dislikes fights. Although he isn't fond of conflicts and such, he will fight for himself and the others if he has to.

Character History

Hugger was bought by the family almost a decade ago and was played with by the family's kids when they were toddlers. Drakaina was also one of the toys the kids (as toddlers, of course) played with. As time went by, a rift formed between Hugger and Drakaina due to their opposite opinions about things, and at one point, the two toys argued and Drakaina, getting frustrated, attacked Hugger. Hugger defended himself and drove Drakaina away, never seeing her again until around the end of Mission #3 in this roleplay. Hugger stayed with the family peacefully, and as more toys were bought, became broken, and were thrown away, Hugger lived on, and after becoming over ten years old, the toys that make up the current good guy team were brought home by the family and met Hugger. Shortly after Drakaina came out of hiding and formed a rivalry with Hugger and the other nine toys, they formed a team. Hugger became team leader and so far has been guiding his team throughout various missions and adventures.
KATNISS

General Info

Katniss is a doll based on the main character from The Hunger Games trilogy and is from the second movie, Catching Fire. She is strong, compassionate, and is witty and frank when she wants to be. She and Merida often get along well due to them both being great at archery. Katniss is always there for the team in their times of need, ready to take on any mission with her bow at her side.

Character History

In the movies/books that make up The Hunger Games trilogy, Katniss was a 16 year-old girl who lived in District 12 in Panem (which is a future version of the USA that has been split into twelve Districts). She was living with her sister Prim and her mom, trying to keep them alive by hunting for game. Then, the 74th Hunger Games came up, and Prim was chosen to compete. Katniss bravely volunteered as tribute, and she and fellow tribute Peeta Mellark were sent to the Capitol. There, they trained and prepared themselves for the Games. On the night before the Games- the interviews- Peeta reveals that he has liked Katniss for a long time. Katniss is pretty mad about it, but she and Peeta end up falling in love during the Games and they become victors together, although they were going to kill themselves with poisonous berries before winning. In Catching Fire, People in the districts start to rebel, not believing their love story. The next year of the Hunger Games comes around- the Quarter Quell, a special version of the Games. This time, the tributes were to be from the existing pool of victors, which means Katniss was the only female tribute from District 12. She and Peeta end up going into the Games that time, and Katniss is determined to save Peeta over herself- or any tribute, for that matter. When Katniss blew up the arena at the end of the Games, she and a few others were rescued, but Peeta wasn't. In Mockingjay, the final Hunger Games installment, Katniss is in District 13- District 12 was destroyed by the Capitol. Besides being the head of the rebellion, Katniss' main goal was to save Peeta. Once he was rescued, he couldn't trust Katniss because the Capitol hijacked him. Once he was able to trust her, they worked together to bring down the Capitol. In the end, Katniss and Peeta got married, had children, and lived peacefully in District 12, which had been restored.
In the RP, Katniss' outfit is that from her second Hunger Games in the book/movie The Hunger Games:Catching Fire. She also shares the same personality as she does in the books/movies-while she is brave, witty, and has good leadership skills, she doesn't like to pretend to be what she really isn't, and sometimes gets defensive. She and Merida have a close friendship, mainly because they are both witty, strong archers. Also, in the RP, Katniss isn't stuck in any love triangles like she is in the books/movies and the only person (or toy) she has a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship with is Peeta. Katniss is also good at fighting and is a good team member to have around during a conflict with the bad guys. She was especially valuable when Drakaina's Hunger Games in Mission #3 came along, and helped the team escape the dreaded arena. Overall, Katniss is a great team member.
TRIS

General Info

Tris is a doll based on the main character from the movie/book Divergent. In the movie/book, Tris is a girl living in one of the five groups known as "factions" in dystopian Chicago. She has to take a test to show which faction she belongs in. However, the test results show she is inconclusive-she could be in more than one faction, meaning she is Divergent. Each faction is for people who are either smart (Erudite), selfless (Abnegation), kind (Amity), honest (Candor), or brave (Dauntless). Tris, however, is smart, selfless, AND brave, which is also her personality in the roleplay. Tris is good with hand-to-hand combat and guns, and is always there for the rest of the team in their times of need.

Mission #6

Character History

In the movie/book Divergent, Tris grew up in dystopian Chicago, which was split up into 5 factions- Abnegation (selfless), Erudite (smart), Candor (honest), Amity (kind/peaceful), and Dauntless (brave), and the factionless, who don't belong anywhere. Tris, originally called Beatrice, was a 16 year-old Abnegation girl. She took a test, like every other 16-year old did, to see what faction she belonged in. Her results turned out to be Erudite, Abnegation, and Dauntless, making her Divergent. At the Choosing Ceremony, Tris selected Dauntless. Upon arrival to Dauntless headquarters, she changed her name to Tris. In Dauntless, Tris trained both physically and mentally, eventually making her way to the top of the score board, which was sort of strange for a girl from Abnegation. Her mentor, Four/Tobias, realizes that she has abilities that are different than the other initiates, and they work together to understand what makes Divergents so threatening to the system. In the two other books in the series, Tris learns to fully embrace her Divergence while also trying to save those she loves, as well as uncovering more of her parents'- and the city's- pasts.
In the RP, Tris is brave, selfless, and smart, like she is in the books/movies about her. As shown in Mission #5, her Divergent abilities allow her to be able to tell whether or not something is real (in the books/movies, the so-called "tests" were actually hallucinations/simulations within one's mind), as well as "manipulate the simulation" if the situation she is in isn't a real-in other words, she can use her Divergence and willpower to control the hallucination and make what she wants to come appear, and what she wants to happen simply happen. Tris also is one of the few team members who can cheer Edward up, and she has a bit of a brother-sister relationship with Spyro that became stronger during their adventure in Mission #5. In the end, Tris is a good team member, especially during simulations and battles having to do with the baddies.
MERIDA

General Info

Merida is the awesome, tomboyish, Scottish princess who is based on the main character from the Disney movie Brave. She is fun, enthusiastic, and GREAT at archery (often getting along with Katniss due to that). Merida also likes horse-riding and forests. She is occasionally grouchy or serious, especially during battles or conflicts with the bad guys, but is always prepared with her bow at her side.

Character History

In the movie Brave, Merida was a Scottish princess of the clan Dunbroch who was taught how to shoot with a bow and arrows by her father King Fergus when she was little. At the age of sixteen, she had to marry one of the many Scottish princes from the other clans. The princes came to the castle where Merida lived and competed for her hand, but during an archery competition, Merida entered herself to compete for her "own hand" and won the competition. Her mother, Queen Elinor, became furious with Merida after she avoided marriage. Merida, who ended up arguing with her mother, cut a delicate tapestry before riding away on her horse to a witch. Merida got the witch to make a magical cake and gave the cake to Queen Elinor, hoping it would make her mother change her mind about things, but after eating it Queen Elinor turned into a bear. Merida and her mother then worked together and found out how to break the curse and succeeded just in time before Queen Elinor would remain a bear forever. Merida and her family then lived happily ever after.
The adventures of Princess Merida continue in this RP, where she is a doll version of herself rather than a human. In the RP, Merida has been very helpful in fighting the baddies, especially with her archery skills, and has formed a good friendship with fellow archer Katniss. Often Merida's tomboyish, good sense of humor also helps cheer up the team in dark times.
ELSA

General Info

Elsa is the doll based on one of the main characters from the latest Disney princess movie Frozen. She is a Norwegian queen who has special but powerful ice powers, and if she isn't careful, she could freeze everything in a matter of minutes. Elsa isn't completely sure where she belongs, dislikes having lack of control of her powers, and is a good friend. If the baddies attack, she is ready with her ice powers to defend the team with her life.

Character History

In the movie Frozen, Elsa was a princess of Arendelle born with magical ice powers that grew dangerously unstable if she became afraid. Not wanting to hurt her sister Anna with her powers, she ran away to a mountain and made an ice palace there. Anna set out to find her, meeting Kristoff the iceman, Olaf the snowman, and Kristoff's reindeer Sven along the way. Anna eventually found her, but in her failed attempts to get Elsa to come back to Arendelle, Elsa became agitated and accidentally used her ice magic to freeze Anna's heart, thus turning it to ice. Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven left, and Elsa was shortly after captured by Prince Hans (who was left being in charge of Arendelle by Anna, his girlfriend) and taken away to Arendelle as a prisoner. Elsa escaped the dungeons she was trapped in only to be caught and almost killed by Hans again. However, Anna saved Elsa's life, but just as she did she turned to ice due to having a frozen heart. Shortly after Anna was restored back to normal because an act of true love thawed her frozen heart (AKA, saving her sister Elsa also saved herself), Hans was captured and put in prison, and Elsa and Anna lived happily ever after.
Elsa's story continues in this RP, except this time it's an Elsa doll instead of a human who is one of the main characters in this adventure. Throughout most of the missions, Elsa has helped the team succeed in fighting the baddies. In some missions about her, Elsa's ice palace has made appearances, mainly when Elsa runs away due to being in fear of hurting her fellow team members when her powers become unstable. Also, in the RP, Elsa has accidentally made the hearts of Merida and Anna become frozen, and in both cases they survived after saving Elsa's life and recovering in a similar fashion to the way Anna did in the movie Frozen. Luckily, after Mission #4, Elsa has managed to find out how to control her powers and has assured the team that she won't have to run away from them ever again.
SPYRO

General Info

Spyro is a stuffed animal based on the dragon called Spyro in the Spyro the Dragon video games. In terms of his history in the video game world, he is known for being a young, small dragon compared to other dragons, but he is the bravest of them all. In the games, he travels through the magical dragon worlds, defeating enemies, collecting treasures, and going on awesome adventures. Although Spyro was bought by some other video game guys who made the "Spyro Trilogy" and Spyro was put in Skylanders, I (the creator of this blog) am talking about the ORIGINAL Spyro video game series (Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2:Ripto's Rage, etc.). Anyway, here's some info about Spyro in this RP-Spyro is brave, strong, and a great fighter. He is also Hugger's second-in-command. Spyro is always ready to singe enemies with fire breath, hit them with his horns, and fly up in the air to avoid their blows or escape them when danger comes. Since Spyro is slightly bigger than most of the others, one other toy that is smaller than him is able to ride him. In conclusion, Spyro is a really brave and awesome dragon.

Character History

In the video game Spyro the Dragon, Spyro, a young, fiesty, "little flame" was once playing hooky in the beautiful meadows of the Artisan Dragon World, the place where peaceful dragons study, craft, and create art. However, after overhearing some of the not-so-nice opinions from the dragons about him, Gnasty Gnorc, the "gnastiest" Gnorc (half gnome, half orc) in the Dragon Worlds cast a spell that turned all the dragons to stone and most of the dragon gems and treasures to living, loyal minions (who were just as green and ugly as Gnasty himself). Gnasty also got many thieves to steal the last of the dragon eggs. Meanwhile, Spyro, who was still alive (since he wasn't doing what he was supposed to and Gnasty's spell missed him), set out on a big adventure, traveling from one Dragon World to the next, freeing dragons from their stone prisons, defeating Gnasty's minions, and taking back the stolen dragon eggs from the thieves. However, Spyro wasn't alone-he had his trusty dragonfly by his side, Sparx, as well as the help from each dragon he converted back to normal. In the end, Spyro and Sparx reached Gnasty Gnorc's lair and had a final battle with him. Spyro was victorious, and the Dragon Worlds lived on peacefully...until, of course, the video games Spyro 2:Ripto's Rage, Spyro 3:Year of the Dragon, and Spyro 4:Enter the Dragonfly came along. But those are other stories.
In the RP, Spyro is the second-in-command of Hugger's team of toys, so whenever Hugger's guidance isn't available, Spyro is often there to help. Spyro shares the adventurous and mischievous heart of Merida and the brave and selfless heart of Tris, while at the same time being unique in many different ways. Spyro also has a bit of a "best friend-best rival" relationship with Kirk, where often he and Kirk work together throughout the missions, but at the same time have disputes due to the fact that Kirk himself acts a bit like a second-in-command. Having grown wiser, stronger, and braver from his past adventures, Spyro is a great addition to the team.
PEETA

General Info

Peeta is a doll based on the character Peeta from the movie "The Hunger Games:Catching Fire." He is one of the slightly more annoying team members, along with Edward. Peeta acts like a baby, is a little bit pushy, and irritates Katniss sometimes. However, unlike Edward, he can be very helpful, and is good with making plans and assisting fellow team members during important missions. Eventually, he will fit in with the team some more and become less annoying. Overall, he is a very loyal team member.

Character History

Peeta is from the Hunger Games trilogy. Peeta was selected to compete in the 74th Hunger Games with Katniss, who volunteered for her sister Prim. During the Games, Peeta and Katniss allied up and fell in love onscreen, due to some revelations made by Peeta during the interviews before the Games. Peeta and Katniss won, but they originally were going to kill themselves by eating poisonous berries called nightlock. In The Hunger Games- Catching Fire, Peeta has to go back into the Hunger Games because it is a "special" Games- the Quarter Quell. The victors were to be the tributes, and Peeta volunteered for Haymitch, their mentor in the first movie. In the arena, he almost died because he ran into a forcefield, and when Katniss blew up the arena, he was captured by the Capitol with fellow tribute/ally Johanna Mason. In Mockingjay , Peeta gets hijacked by the Capitol, but is rescued by District 13. It takes him awhile to finally trust Katniss, and when he does, they fight together to try and bring down the Capitol once and for all. In the end of the series, Peeta and Katniss get married and have children, and the Games and the Capitol are just a mere memory.
In the RP, Peeta is slightly more annoying than the version of himself in The Hunger Games. However, he is good at coming up with plans, and also helps the team in really sticky situations. He and Katniss also aren't part of a love triangle, since Gale isn't a team member, therefore making their relationship less "turbulent" than it was in the movies/books. Peeta's appearance is also based on what he wore during his second time in the arena in the movie The Hunger Games:Catching Fire. In terms of missions, Peeta was especially helpful in Mission #3, when the team were sent into Drakaina's own personal Hunger Games for toys. In the end, Peeta is a good, loyal team member.
EDWARD

General Info

Edward is a doll based on the sparkling vampire from the Twilight Saga. In this RP, he can be smart-not stupid-as well as serious. On occasion, Edward can be annoying. He isn't very enthusiastic and cheerful, and argues with the rest of the team sometimes, but he is still a loyal companion and will defend the team if he has to. Since Edward is a vampire, he has vampire powers (moving in a blur and reading minds to name a few) that can come in handy for his team.

Edward is from the book/movie saga Twilight, as stated above. When Bella is the new student in school, Edward starts to become very obsessed with her, including saving her from everything, watching her every footstep, and stalking her...at night when she's asleep. Eventually they have a "romance of a lifetime", break up, get back together, face a vampire army together, get married, and have a kid named Renesmee, which all happens in 4 books/5 movies. Oh, and there is a very forced love triangle in the saga, too- Jacob vs. Edward.
In the RP, Edward is basically a lifeline to the team in serious occasions, often using his abilities to rescue them. He also turned to the bad side in Mission #2, but decided to come back. After Mission #2, he was a bit close to Elsa, but ended up liking Tris more. Edward is known for being sort of negative all the time, criticizing other team members, and stuff like that, but is still a helpful team member.
KIRK

General Info

Captain Kirk is a doll based on one of the main characters from the movie/TV show "Star Trek." In the movie/TV show, he is a USS Enterprise Captain, and in the roleplay, due to him being used to being a captain, sometimes he likes to take charge of things (which causes him to have occasional arguments with Spyro, who is the second-in-command toy of Hugger's team). He is nice, strong, focused, and a good friend. He is also good at making plans and is eager to help out the team anytime.

He is a goal achiever, and often will push his crew/team beyond human limits to achieve a goal. Kirk respects those he is leading, and in the films and TV show, he respects Spock, his emotions mentor, and McCoy, the ship's surgeon. Kirk will never show much doubt and is considered a hero for people of all ages to admire.
In the RP, Kirk acts as 2nd in command, even though Spyro is. This causes them to get in frequent arguments about who's certified 2nd in command. Kirk first appeared in Mission #3 in the hovercraft after the Hunger Games, helping the team find the lost team members in Drakaina's lair. Kirk was immediately attracted to Elsa since, and they are in a growing relationship.
ANNA

General Info

Anna is a Disney princess doll based on one of the main characters from the popular Disney movie Frozen. She is enthusiastic, cheerful, funny, and often clumsy. She has a habit of speaking before she thinks. Anna is also Elsa's younger sister, and both sisters often protect and take care of each other well. Unlike Elsa, she has no powers to help her defend herself or fight, but she is willing to do this for the team anytime.

Character History

In Frozen, Anna was the princess of Arendelle. Her elder sister, Queen Elsa, ran away to some mountains after all of Arendelle found out that she had dangerous, unstable ice powers. Anna set out to find Elsa. Along the way, she met three new friends, Kristoff the iceman, Olaf the snowman, and Sven the reindeer. Together, the four found Elsa, who was living in an ice castle in some far mountains. When Anna met up with Elsa and tried to convince her to return to Arendelle and bring back summer (for Elsa's powers had accidentally trapped all of Arendelle in an eternal winter), Elsa soon became agitated and accidentally hit Anna's heart with a blast of ice magic, thus freezing it. Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven then left the ice palace and visited some trolls living out in the forest (who were also Kristoff's adopted family). The trolls explained that Anna's heart had become frozen and only an act of true love could save her from eventually turning to ice. Unaware that Elsa had been captured and brought back to Arendelle as a prisoner by Anna's boyfriend, Prince Hans, Anna and her three companions returned to Arendelle, where Anna went to Hans shortly after Elsa's capture in order to receive a kiss from him that would thaw her heart. However, Hans revealed that he never loved Anna and only wanted to become ruler of Arendelle, and then he locked her away in a room in a castle and left to execute Elsa, claiming that Anna was already dead due to Elsa freezing her heart. Olaf soon arrived and helped Anna escape the castle and run away onto a frozen lake. Meanwhile, Elsa had escaped prison and was also on the frozen lake, and Kristoff was riding Sven towards Anna so he could kiss her and save her from her fate. However, Anna suddenly spotted Hans creeping up behind Elsa, his sword raised. Anna threw herself in between Elsa and Hans just as Hans was about to kill her, and at that very same instant turned to ice. Elsa cried for Anna, but Anna was restored to life only a few moments after, for she had saved Elsa's life, which was an act of true love. Hans was put in jail and Anna, her sister, and her friends lived happily ever after.
In the RP, Anna is just as brave, adventurous, and clumsy as she is in the movie Frozen. While she helps the team, she also never gives up in bad situations and uses her kindness to help cheer her friends up, similarly to how she never gave up on Elsa. Anna was also one of the main characters from Mission #4 and helped the team search for Elsa after she ran away for a second time-and, if it weren't for her, Elsa wouldn't even be alive, since Anna saved her from Carlito in that same mission. Even though Anna is brave and compassionate, she is also pretty clumsy and sparks up awkward moments among the team due to that. Anna is also one of the few team members that doesn't have a weapon or special ability that allows her to fight. However, as clumsy and unable to fight as she is, Anna is one of the braver and more valuable members of the team.
