My Favorite Book
My favorite book is Madol Duva. The author of Madol Duwa is Mr. Martin Wickrama. This book is one of the most popular books.Madol Duwa Sinhala Children's Novel has been written by Sri Lankan great author Martin Wickramasinghe. It was first published in 1947. In the 1890s[not confirmed] a young man named Upali Agnivale, who lived on the coast of the southern province of Sri Lanka, is the main character. This story is based on the wonderful actions he and his friend Jinnah aka Jinapala did. Upali's dedication to living on a deserted island with her friend is described here. The book has since been translated into several languages around the world, including Tamil, English, Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Romanian, Bulgarian. In 1976, Dr. Lester James Peiris wrote this story in a film of the same name.

There are a lot of books made by this author. This book can be purchased from bookstores.Upali Giniwella is a boy living in a village in South Sri Lanka. He lost his mother at the age of seven and is under the care of Kudamma. Jinnah is the servant boy in their house and a close and trusted friend of Upali. The two boys get involved in a lot of nonsense in the village with their gang of boys, resulting in severe punishment from Upali's father. Upali is eventually sent to a new school and has to live with a school teacher. When he returns home, the two boys are matted when they try to raid a fruit garden. Fearing that they will be sent to work or handed over to the police, Upali and Jinnah run away from home and eventually return to the service of a farmer named Chotagamarala. While working, the two boys see an island covered with dense forest, and decide to go there and live there. A deserted island, Madol Island is believed to be haunted, but with the help of Podigamarala, he starts farming there. After seeing a mysterious light on the island that is said to haunt the ghost, they follow it and it is in reality The name of the story, "Madol Duwa", means "Mangrove Island" in Sinhala. The story takes place in the 1890s and depicts the lifestyle and culture of that era. Presented as a narrative by Upali Agniwella, the way adults treat children and their inability to understand them is ironic and humorous. Madol Dua is presented in simple language,Upali and Jinnah are the two main characters in the story. Upali wants to be independent and is the leader of a gang of robbers in his village. He loves bravery and adventure. Although initially a spinster, he later learns to act responsibly. Upali's devoted friend and assistant Jinnah is an energetic and courageous boy and Upali admits that he cannot manage without Jinnah.Other characters include Podigamarala, a supportive farmer who allows the boys to work and teaches them how to handle farming and firearms, and then helps them when they go to Madol Island, and The Little Man, a lazy and useless man who starts on the island. To live there with Upali and Jinnah.
I LIKE MADOL DUVA BOOK.
