Sri Lanka sinharaja Forest
Sinharaja is a beautiful forest in Sri Lanka.This undulating montane rainforest, part of Sri Lanka's lowland rainforest region, was designated a Biosphere Reserve in 1607 and a World Heritage Site in 1988.It is a protected sanctuary for endemic species of plants as well as insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.

All kinds of birds including the red-flowered koha, Sri Lankan reed warbler and Sri Lankan grebe can be seen here.Tree frogs are particularly common here.The common birdwing butterfly and leeches are well-known invertebrates.
