THE Sri lanka air force is one of the three armed forces of sri lanka.an air force was first established in sri lanka under the name of the royal ceylon air force on 2 March 1951.After sri lanka became a Republic,the Sri lanka air force was incorporated into the constitution of parliament. The first air commander of the royal ceylon air Force was air commodore G. C.Bayledon.
