Behaviour:

Purring: The two main purrs are:
The growling purr - often conpanioned by swaying, this is to show a guinea pig is angry
The happy purr: Some guinea pigs purr when they are being petted, or groomed by another guinea pig - it means they are happy and want more

Squeaking: the three main types of squeaks are:
The chatting squeak: Guinea pigs speak to each other with this squeak - it is bubbly, consistant, and not very loud - like how humans speak
The stress squeak: Some guinea pigs squeak loudly and and consistantly, often high-pitched, when scared, nervous, or stressed
The calling squeak: guinea pigs are pack animals in the wild and squeak loudly to call other guinea pigs.
