Filipino Cuisines

Adobo is the most popular food among Filipinos Cuisines. There are several types of making adobo, some of them are Chicken adobo and Pork adobo.


LECHON

Lechon is one of the most popular food by the FILIPINO. In almost every occasion, lechon is always at the dining table. We can always see it in Fiesta and Wedding occasions.
It is a dish made by roasting a whole pig over charcoal.


DAING

Daing is a fish that has been dried, salted, or simply marinated in vinegar with lots of garlic and then fried. It is delicious especially if you combine it with sinangag( fried rice ) and dip it in Bagoong ( fish sauce ). Filipinos are proud to present this as one of the foods that had originated in the Philippines.


DINUGUAN

A savory stew of meat simmered in a rich, thick gravy of pig's blood, garlic, chili, and vinegar. This food is always prepared in every special occasions like wedding. The blood of the pig is the most known ingredient in doing this Dinuguan. This is delicious if you combine it with Puto.


BALUT

A fertilized duck (or chicken) egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell.
It is the number one food that the foreigners wanted to taste. They are amazed by its taste. Philippines is the only one making Balut. If other countries had already done this, then, the Philippines is the original producer of it.
