~Vesak Festival🎇🎇~
  
-Vesak Poya is a very special day for Buddhists.
-It is held in the month of May every year.
-IT marks three important events in the life of Lord Buddha.They are the birth,the enlightenment and the passing awa of Lord Buddha.
-Most of the people observe 'Sil' on this day. They listen to sermons and other religious talks.
-On this day, Buddhists go to temples, celebrate shil samadan, dansal, participate in bavana programs etc.
-Houses are decorated with wesak lanterns and other decorations.
-Pandals are erected at public places. These pandals depit illustration from the "birth stories" of Lord Budhdha.
-Dansal are organized by the youth .They serve the tried devotees with refreshment.
-As school children on Vesak Poya day, we share Vesak cards with our friends.
-May the people of different races and religions for get their differences and live happily in place and harmony on this three blessed wesak day!
-It is a our responsibility to celebrate such a precious day with your heart.
