Asokaramaya also known as 'Pankuliya' situated about 2 km to the east of'Kuttam Pokuna'(Twin Pond),along the 'Galpalama'(Stone Bridge)road.It connists of all monastic buildings such as image house with moonstone,a hot water bath,assemblyh hall ect.It was built for the nuns of Abhayagiri Vihara.The image built in the 'Veerasana'posture is 6 ft.9 inch.in height.
