Kandy Perahera-A religious festival

The Kandy Perahera is areligious festival. It is held in August.
The whip crackers announce the
Perahera. The dancers, drummers, tom tom beaters,
flag bearers and stilt walkers come after
that. The torch bearers light the Perahera.
Every year the tooth relic is
taken out for Perahera. Many young and old people
come to see it every year.
It is very beautiful.
