Italy: Italy is the main character for this anime. He is often described as cheerful, weak, and lazy, and he has an obsession with all things Italian food related, especaily of pasta. Although he relies on Germany a lot, Italy doesn't really listen to what he says and instead daydreams or wanders off. His hobbies include cooking, siestas, painting, and singing. His allies are : Germany and Japan. His human name is : Feliciano Vargas.
Germany: Germany is an almost constant companion for Italy. He protects him, saves him when he cann't, and cleans up after him. He is uptight and very strict.He is a tough, too-serious, and efficient man who always abides by the rules and is "weak to" them. He often has difficulty leaving his commanding, serious mode and relaxing, even for the sake of another. He keeps order in world meetings and loves cleanlyness. His allies are : Italy and Japan. Japan: Japan is a quiet, reserved country who's common catch phrases are "we'll see" and "mabey later" . There is litle known about him except that he likes his space, is horrifyed by 'nudity' (wearing just swim suits), and doesn't understand weastern culture. His allies are : Germany and Italy, though in the secound season he is seen often around Greece and Turkey. His human name is : Honda Kiku, though is ussually called by his last name.
America: America is an loud, obnoxious but loveable country. He contantly eats burgers and diet soda. His catch phrase is "I'm a hero", and he uses these so-called hero abilities to force things on others, including Japan .He is often seen fighting with England and is brothers to Canada. Cuba hates him. His allies are : England, France, Russia, China, and Canada(?). His human name is : Alfred F. Jones.
England: England is a sophisticated, sarcastic country who calls himself a gentle man. He sees a variety of mistical creatures including a fairy, pirate, unicorn, and his and the fans alltine favorite, flying mint bunny. He is often see fighting with America and France. Durring his pirate days, he crushed France and Spain, who still has a grudge untile this day. He raised America and Canada. His allies are : America, France, Russia, China, and Canada(?). His human name is : Arthur Kirkland
France : France is a perverted country who hits on every thing that moves. He enjoys annoyng England and claiming that said country has 'sexual tention' with America. He is often put down for being almost as week as Italy and for haveing flashy cloths. He is seen fighting with England constinly and occationally with America. He claims his constant mulestation of countries as him spreading his love. He raised Canada for a brief periond of time before England took him away. His allies are : America, England, Russia, China, and Canada(?). His human name is : Francis Bonnefoy.
Russia: Russia is a cold, creepy, sadistical country who acts cheerful and happy with a child like enjoyment of destuction and pain to others. He constantly is talking about destroying other countries, and his catch phrase is " become one with mother Russia, da?" He has repetedly sat on Canada. He is terrified of his little sister Belarus who chases him around trying to marry him. His other sibling is Ukraine. He keeps the three baltic states, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, as his monions and constantly terrorises them. His allies are : America, England, France, China, and Canada(?). His human name is : Ivan Braginski.
China: Cnina is the oldest nation in Hetalia and is called imortal. He constantly trys to sell thing to the other countries. He worked fo England and France after the Opium Wars. His boss is a giant green dragon. He beats up the Axis Powers constantly with a wok. He to care of Japan when he was little, and consiters him a brother. His allies are : America, England, France, Russia, and Canada(?). His human name is : Wang Yao.
Canada: Canada is a queit country who isn't seen and ignored or is called his brother, America. England is most apt to do this ,although France steps in a few times. He was fathered by France but was taken away by England. I put a question mark by his name dou to the face that Canada is and ally of most nations but is forgotten and only called his real name about five times through the entire anime. Cuba constantly his him , because he thinks that he is America. He carries around a polar bear by the name of Kumajiro. The bear forgets his name, and in return he for gets the last part of his name, the jiro part. Even so they are close friends. His allies are : America, England, France, Russia, and China. his human name is : Matthew Williams.
