VICTORY DAY IS THE DAY WHICH IS A VERY SPECIAL DAY.IT WAS THE DAY THAT MALDIVES WON A WAR FROM THE SRILANKANS. THEY CAME TO TRY TO TAKE OVER MALDIVEs.ACTUALLY,A MALDIVIAN TOLD THE SRILANKANS TO DO THAT.THE PRESIDENT THAT YEAR CONTACTED THE INDIAN AIR FORCE TO COME AND SAVE THEM.THEY TRIED TO BREAK DOWN ALL THE MOSQUES AND HOUSES AND EVERYTHING.THEY CAME ANONYMOUSLY.ON A BOAT.SO NOONE WILL FIND THEM AS THEY GO INTO THE ISLAND.THEY KILLED ATLEST 22 PEOPLE!


MALDIVES IS A VERY TOURISTY COUNTRY .IT HAS AT LEAST MORE THAN 50 TOURISTS COMING EVERY DAY !!1 MOSTLY CHINESE PEOPLE COME TO MALDIVES NO A THESE DAYS TO WORK ON BRIDGES AND MAKE FLATS SO MALDIVES IS VERY TROPICAL.IT HAS A TROPICAL CLIMATE.WE HAVE RESORTS AND ISLANDS ANDLOTS OF LUCSOURUIS ACTIVITIES TO DO IT HAS ATLEAST 100 ISLANDS AND RESORTS WE DO HAVE TRADITIONAL STUFF LIKE FOOD,HANDY TOOLS AND SPECIAL EQIPMENT AND SAFETY EQIPMENT.THE NATIONAL DRESS IS BASED ON THE OLD DRESSES PEOPLE WORE BEFORE AND THATS STILL OUR NATIONALITY DREAM. THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE MALDIVES WAS PRESIDENT MOHAMED AMEEN DIDI.THEN IN 1878, MALDIVES WAS SECUREDBY THE BRITISH.WHO WANTED MALDIVES TO BE PROTECTED FROM ANYTHING,BUT IBRAHIM NASIR WANTED MALDIVES TO BE INDEPENDENT SO MADE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE BRITISH TO LEAVE.IN 1965, TH E BRITISH SIGNGED THE AGREEMENT AND MALDIVES WAS AN INDEPNDENTS CONTRY,NOW ITS BEEN 51 YEARS OF YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE.THE MALDIVES IS A VERY LONG LIVESD CONTRY.IN 2016,THE BRITISHERS CAME BACK TO KEEP MALDIVES SAFE AGAIN BUT I DONT KNOW WHY, AND OTHER PLACES LIKE THAT FOR SAFETY.
